Investors Relations Manager

This is a unique opportunity to join Kyiv office of one of the largest integrated energy companies in the CEE region. The company is rapidly changing and has many exciting projects in the pipeline. The role includes leadership responsibilities across investor relations, fundraising, strategy development, and corporate finance areas. Working as part of the small team across Kyiv and London offices, you will learn outside of job specification and have an opportunity to make a significant contribution, including influencing the strategy of the company.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will cover investor relations, fundraising, strategy development, and corporate finance areas
  • Investor relations
    • žPrepare results presentations for quarterly and half-annual investor meetings (presentation materials, press releases, scripts, logistics)
    • Provide strategic input and recommendations into the results presentations
    • Prepare monthly investor briefs
    • Maintain regular dialogue with investors including participation in specialized conferences: arrange small group investor meetings, one-on-ones and annual investor day event
    • Monitor and update content of the corporate website
    • Play a central role in collecting internal information, liaising with different departments
    • Be key liaison between investors and business units in Q&A process
    • Manage investor requests
    • Manage relationship with analysts
    • Keep investor database up to date
  • Fundraising
    • Prepare marketing materials, pitch books and financial analysis for fundraising and business development meetings
    • Research and prepare background materials to support fundraising activities
    • Support communication with existing investors and financial institutions
  • Strategy development
    • Constantly monitor industry news, events and developments
    • Prepare industry research analysis: operating and strategic benchmarking and peer analysis
    • Prepare monthly macro screens
    • Support ad-hoc strategy sessions
  • Corporate finance
    • Monitor debt and equity capital markets
    • Support structuring financing transactions
    • Support buyside situations (screening, valuation, due diligence, process management)
  • Support sellside situations (marketing, preparation of due diligence materials, negotiations).

Required Experience and Skills

  • Good academic credentials (Degree in finance and Economics)
  • 5years of experience in corporate sector and / or investment banking, consulting with focus on bond / equity capital markets and investor relations
  • Strong analytical skills and highly numerate
  • Attention to detail and ability to explain and interpret data
  • High level of motivation, integrity, team spirit, energy and enthusiasm, ability to work under time pressure
  • Advanced usage of Excel and Power Point
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills
  • Eagerness to learn and make improvements
  • Knowledge of the European power sector trends, drivers, peers
  • Understanding and ability to build corporate and asset valuations models
  • Understanding, interpretation and presentation of financial reporting or management accounts
  • Origination and preparation of investor marketing materials
  • Fluent English and Russian
